Do Not Forget Me

My grandmother said this made her think of a young girl moving, and couldn't bring her horse with her. I can't think of leaving something I love behind. But it is kind of funny that Grandmama would bring that up... The first movie that Gillian and I curled up to and watched, just me and her, was Black Beauty. Now, If you remember right, The little girls in the movie had to hug beauty's neck and cried when they had to leave their sweet ponies behind because their mother, the Duchess or whoever, was very ill. This picture is just as touching to me.
In the picture is Gillian, my cousin, and Olimpia Anne, or "Annie". Shes an American Quarter Horse and ex- Barrel racer. Shes retired. But anyways, thought I would share this. Gil & I went out on Thanksgiving and just played with Annie, Jack (other horse) and Elvis.... our Donkey. Gil decided she would try and ride him... He didn't like that too much lol. But no worries, I cought her before she hit the ground with camera in hand in all.
